Here is the final logo redesign for Oak Point Resort. I used a friendly font in lowercase letters to appeal to families and fishermen. The oak leaves give a visual and the typeface has points or spurs, both accentuating the name and its location in the woods in the midwest. The color choice is based on those found in nature.

WOW! Although I have mentioned it before, I just gotta say that your logo redesign is fantastic. So much better than the original. It captures the essence and spirit of the place while keeping it friendly and not making it too upscale.
The color choice was well chosen along with the small line drawings of leaves. The type and image both relate very well to each other.
Overall its very cohesive and represents the business very well!
